Photographer and Audio-Visual Storyteller
Aashish Kiphayet is a Bangladeshi documentary photographer and Audio-Visual Storyteller based in New York and Washington DC. His work focuses on immigration, social justice, and civil rights. His works have been published in Times, CNN, NBC, The Hill, The Guardian, Bloomberg, Newsweek, Telegraph, Huffington Post, and more. Currently, he is doing a project named "Brown Eyes Dream" about the Bangladeshi diaspora who live in the United States and how they are shaping their homeland, especially in politics, as well as economic development. His Visual Storytelling journey began in 2017 as a television producer when he was in Bangladesh. He also likes photographing Cityscape and architecture. Aashish believes responsible visual storytelling can raise questions and awareness regarding the issues. He is also passionate about Bangladesh and South Asian Geopolitics.
